A summer without big tech conferences is an opportunity to reassess our relationship with technology
For a tech journalist, the summer months from April to June mean one thing — bracing for a host of major technology conferences from the who’s who of Silicon Valley royalty. But earlier this year, when Mobile World Congress — the flagship global telecom event, which sees a footfall of around 1,00,000 in Barcelona — was cancelled, it was an indicator of things to come.
