I’m a huge fan of the idea of Apple’s AirPods, but the execution leaves a bit to be desired. Like many other people, my main problem with them is that the tips are made of smooth plastic. AirPods produce shockingly good sound and deep bass, but you can’t hear it most of the time because the smooth plastic doesn’t create a tight seal in your ear canals.
